State of the Art Treatment for Dizziness, Hearing Loss and Tinnitus

Who Can Benefit

Treatment at the PORTLAND OTOLOGIC CLINIC can likely benefit patients with the following symptoms:

  • Attacks of vertigo, with or without concomitant hearing loss or tinnitus.
  • Chronic imbalance, particularly with onset following head injury. This injury may be minor, as in "whiplash" injury.
  • Vertigo aggravated by change of head position.
  • Drop attacks, when there is sudden loss of balance without provocation.
  • Chronic lightheadedness, particularly if associated with a sensation of movement or floating.

We have had notable success in treating the following conditions: Meniere’s disease, endolymphatic hydrops, benign paroxysmal positional vertigo, inner ear concussion, acute and chronic labyrinthitis, Tumarkin’s otolithic crisis, perilymph fistula and autoimmune inner ear disease.
