Insurance Q & A

What is the POC policy regarding insurance?

We are contracted providers for the following insurance carriers (as of 11-01-02):

Aetna HealthCare Plans, Premera Blue Cross, Regence Blue Cross, HMO Oregon, Providence Health Plans, Cigna, ODS, Managed HealthCare NW (MHN), PacificSource HMO & PPO,
N. Clackamas School District HMO, Health Care Direct PPO, Medicare.

Note:  The only plan that we contract for Oregon Health Plan patients is Providence Oregon Option.

For persons that are not covered by these insurance carriers, we are on a fee-for-service basis, with payment in advance. We take VISA and Mastercard.  Be sure to call our office at (503) 233-5925 if you are unsure about whether your insurance is applicable.

If I am not covered by one of the above insurance carriers, what is the cost of the Comprehensive Vertigo Consultation, including the tests?

The average cost is approximately $1800.

If my condition proves to be treatable, what is the cost of treatment?

It generally ranges from $500 to $2500, if surgery is not involved.
If surgery is indicated the costs will be higher.
