Welcome to the Portland Otologic Clinic
State of the Art Treatment for Dizziness, Hearing Loss and Tinnitus

Tinnitus Treatment

For 40 million Americans life is never quiet, even in silence. Instead, for 24 hours a day their heads are filled with screeching, ringing, hissing, buzzing, chirping, whistling or roaring. These sounds are known as tinnitus, which is the medical name for phantom auditory noise. Tinnitus noises are usually audible only to the individual sufferer, not to others. For most people, the cause is not known.
